The 2017 School Slam Series commences on the 7th of March with the Joondalup Series hosted by the Joondalup Wolves. With three of the schools competing being previous Champions Cup competitors it is set to be a highly competitive competition.
SEDA Group’s Basketball WA class are again partnering with the School Slam Series are the on-day coordinators and have recently sat a Community Referee Course and Score Table information session ready for the first carnival.
Basketball WA are lucky enough to have this program funded by Healthway and the Smarter than Smoking message and would like to thank them in advance for their support with court hire, trophies and any other cost involved in delivering this tournament.

Another change this year is the addition of multiple Country School Slam Series which will take part in numerous Country towns. With Leschanult Catholic College from the South West winning the girls competition last year, Basketball WA believe that the addition of these Cups will improve the overall standard of play but also provide an opputunity for the country players to participate in a State Wide event.
Basketball WA are counting down the sleeps until we start and can’t wait to see the students hit the court soon.
