Delivery Models of Basketball in Schools

1. Become and Aussie Hoops Centre

To find out more on how to become an Vicinity Centres Aussie Hoops deliverer click here. Aussie Hoops is a ‘user pays’ program delivered before or after school hours on campus. Basketball WA will assist in setting up online registrations, will provide a qualified basketball coach/es and provide equipment to deliver the program.

2. Deliver a Sporting Schools Program

Has your school received a Sporting Schools grant? Basketball WA can organise a Sporting Schools program delivery for before, during or after school program. This includes sources a qualified basketball coach for your school (or endorsing a teacher within your school dependant on external coach delivery and location).

3. Deliver an Internal Basketball Program

This option is suitable for schools who want to run basketball in their PE lessons or at lunch times. Teachers can use the curriculums in the Ambassador Locker Room on the Schools website to assist in their delivery.
